App Review: Make Great Collages With Photo Grid For Windows Phone 8

If you ever liked drawing collages in your drawing book when you were kid, I think it will not be a bad assumption that you make photo collages nowadays. But, to make photo collages which app you should use ? Well, there are many great apps in the Windows Phone app store for this purpose. Some are paid and many of them free. Now, if you are a regular reader of our blog, you might have noticed that we love this word “free”. So, in this post we’ll be reviewing one great,free and simple photo collage app called Photo Grid to make photo collages.

Photo Grid is a fun to use simple collage app which lets you ticker with your snapshot and convert them into beautiful collages. Though it may not be as power packed as its Android counterpart, it still gets the work done for you without any hassle. So, lets look at all the features of Photo Grid and how to use it step by step.

1.) First you need to download the app either on your phone directly or manually by downloading on the computer. For that, the link is given at the very last.

2.) When opened, it will present you with two options -> a.) Grid and b.) High & Wide.

3.)Photo Grid allows you to choose maximum of 9 photos in each option with which you can create collages. You can load images directly from the albums in your Gallery.

4.) There are 32 ( if I have counted it right :P ) image templates for border types in Photo Grid to make collages. Few are just single color templates. You can also dissolve borders between photos, outline borders and make rounded corners.

5.) In Photo Grid, you can rearrange photos with a tap, edit the grid structure, rotate, zoom and move as per your need.

6.)The 4 social media sharing options in Photo Grid, which are Twitter, Facebook, Sina Weibo and Email, allows you to share your picture collages on social media.

Few Final Words

One drawback of Photo Grid is that it doesn’t let you  decide the size and thickness of the border templates. That said, it is still one nifty tool to make collages because the user interface is simple and brilliant and the most important thing is that it is free.
